It’s finally Christmas time. After all, what we went through this year, Christmas is just the right time to rejoice! And how could you leave your furry friend out of the festivities?
Make this Christmas merrier for your doggo as you make them a part of your festivities. Here’s what you can do:
1. Get them a Gift
Yes, your doggo is the most precious gift you’ve ever got! So a gift for them should be just as special! While you lay out gifts for your family members, don’t forget to get one for your furry friend as well!

6. Pet-friendly decorations
When it comes to setting up a tree in your house with lighting and other decorations, it goes without saying that it’s harmful to your dog. While you’re moving stuff around in the house, this sudden change might be stressful and unsettling for your pooch. Make sure you decorate the house gradually in small stages than all at once to avoid causing your doggo discomfort.
Keep all the hanging wires, electric items and decoration items away from your dog. Dogs don’t understand the difference between edible and inedible things and can chew or step on everything. To ensure an accident-free and safe festive season, try making your place as pet-friendly as possible.
7. Make sure your dog has a safe spot
If you’re expecting your relatives and friends to drop by for Christmas, ensure to have a safe spot for your doggo to retreat from the noise. Dogs often get exhausted by visitors and want to find a safe and quiet spot for themselves. 8. Give your doggo a groom

9. No overfeeding
In the festive vibes, we all tend to take an extra bite or two from our lavish meals! While it is completely all right to treat your doggo with a nice, healthy meal on Christmas Day, make sure you don’t overfeed them! They might be begging for their favourite home-baked treats, but that doesn’t mean they have to eat them all in one day! Give them healthy, nutritious food in just the right quantity that is required for them. Overfeeding may result in many health issues and can make your dog sick. That’s the last thing you’ll want to happen to your furry baby on a festival (or any other day of the year), right?
